The short answer: Connecticut’s Home Solicitation Sales Act gives buyers three days to cancel, and it expressly covers sales made in response to or following an invitation by the buyer. Refunds are due within ten business days, and if the seller doesn’t reclaim delivered goods within 20 days, you may keep them; see the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection. Violations are also unfair trade practices under CUTPA.
